You were suffered by complete amnesia, the causes of which can be judged by the number of bottles of alcohol lying throughout the room. The only thing you can say absolutely for sure is that you lack alcohol in the blood, and the faster you can restore this alcohol balance, the better.

Quite quickly you find out that you are a cop and arrived here, in the city of Revashol, to investigate the murder committed in the backyard of the hotel.

Thus, three tasks are already facing you – to find out what is happening around, who you are, and, of course, to reveal the case that you were entrusted with.

I will leave the further development of events a secret for you, because the fewer details I will reveal, the more interesting your game experience will be.

Gameplay

During the game, one of your classes will be moving around the open world, represented by the main street of the city with several alleys and houses that can be visited, as well as a fishing village and the church, with a fish market adjacent to it.

But bOthe most time you will spend reading various dialogues and monologues of the protagonist. There are so many texts in the game that sometimes a feeling was created that a team of graphomaniacs-fanatics worked on it, a number of two hundred people. But, despite the gigantic amount of the text, it is not only interesting to read it, you plunge into it with your head, you feel every word and every emotion that any of the characters puts in the words, every dialogue and any description of the event or environment are so well worked out.

RPG component

Even despite the loss of memory, the https://casinozodiac.uk/login/ protagonist is not a completely white sheet, since it is endowed with a certain background, which, even taking into account amnesia, is no, and it pops up during various actions or conversations.

In total, there are twenty -four skills in the game (which, as I wrote above, are also parts of the person’s personality) divided into four groups: intelligence, psyche, physiology and motor skills, six skills in each. Skills in each group are pumped out for glasses of abilities, each of which the player receives in a hundred experience points gained for completing tasks and receiving important information in the process of conversation with other characters.

Just because of these skills and their directly participation in the dialogs and events, the player has a huge field to play his character. If you want to be a cop-racist who knocks out a rough force out of any suspecting testimony and knocks the door with one glance, and in his free time collects bottles throughout the city? You’re welcome! Or you are more likely a militant policeman who is able to recreate in your head a complete picture of events in the slightest details, but constantly in search of any drug, just not to suffer from the imperfection of this world? And that is easier!

Also on the protagonist can be influenced by ideas that you will bring to the "Cabinet of Thoughts". These ideas after a certain time, which should pass before their comprehension, provide you with certain bonuses to parameter points (and sometimes impose fines), and also give completely new abilities. For example, one of the thoughts after its understanding will increase the threshold of critical success and failure by 1.

In each dialogue, there is a third -party verification of your abilities, when, after a replica or action of your interlocutor, one of the votes gives you some information or advice on a further vision of the dialogue, and the name of the desired skill appears next to one response option, and the option itself is illuminated by white or red color (red test is disposable, and white can be repeated by raising the level of a certain skill). Active checks are carried out by throwing cubes, as in some board game and, accordingly, the higher your level of a certain skill, the less combination you need to be thrown away in order to successfully perform the action.

My advice on passing such checks – if you have overwhelmed a red test – Not worth it restart and try again, play your own story, and do not strive for a certain result with a rainbow and pink ponies.

And you are definitely a detective?

The game has a global goal – to reveal the murder, to find the one who committed it and close the work. That’s all, then you are left to yourself and the freedom of action available to you is amazing.

You can start a survey of possible witnesses, survey of the crime scene, performing secondary tasks, organizing a nightclub with a drug laboratory, finding your own certificate or even finding out information about yourself and the reasons for what happened to you, you are free to do what you wish, but most importantly – not getting confused in the interweaving of events that occurred and occurring both in reval The head of the main character.

Each detail is important. Even that, it would seem, cannot have the slightest attitude to the matter, which is being knocked beyond the scope of the theory you created about what happened – it may be important evidence. Remember every detail, collect all the information and everything will turn into a single picture closer to the end of the game.

Approaching the end of this blog, I would like to note several things that enjoyed me in this game and allowed me to enjoy this unforgettable game experience.

Firstly, this, of course, is a well-written text in which both humorous and dramatic moments can be simultaneously combined. Each dialogue is a small work of art and, from reading which, I received extremely pleasant emotions.

Secondly, a large share in immersion in this game is taken by musical accompaniment, perfectly selected for each location and setting tone for events.

Well, thirdly, this is an interesting plot and side activities. The main branch of the tasks is well written and makes you constantly doubt your own conclusions and revise the details of the case over and over again in search of what you could miss. And additional tasks, in addition to the addition of primary missions, can provide an extensive range of various events, which are simply interesting to observe and which sometimes can give out an extremely unexpected ending.

Oh, played in Disco Elysium even when Loev only released a “review” on it. It was hard to read in English, but at the same time quite interesting. All these sarcastic proposals, difficult to build, mocking and sometimes even cruel jokes and simply interesting dialogues create their own, unique atmosphere. So why am I – for the time being, I’m slowly touched, but, as always, I recommend that you still play in the language that the expanse implied (and yes, I do not understand specifically English), unless, of course, you speak this very language at a fairly decent level. But these are my Ships, let’s leave it aside.

What do you want to say by the game? In short, she tries in everything at once and she successfully turns out to be: a political struggle, funny everyday life in a damned house, corpses, punks, drunkards, drug addicts, phasmids in the end … and in the center of all there is an interesting detective with a decent share of humor and irony. It’s even sometimes difficult to distinguish between side tasks from the main. Most of all I remembered the moment when we are trying to call several numbers through the telephone next to the factory (?) near the village. And the story with Insulindian Phasmid (xs was translated) was the most interesting, as for me. By the way, nevertheless in the review it was worth mentioning not only about the "rpgsh" variability. Elections in dialogs, as well as in separate missions, also affect the outcome, not always reducing to “increasing the chance of success in red choice”. Although, in fact, they are so closely connected.

And the review is not bad, it’s a pity, however, that is not entirely informative, but in fact I painted everything.)
